Yesterday was a day of shortage (but not really, there is always food around) because the fruit stand man won't be back until Monday (today). Here is what my eats looked like today:
Breakfast: Dateorade (30 dates blended with water)
About 690 calories
Lunch: After we got done working we were really hungry. Our bananas weren't ripe yet, and like I said, there was a food shortage and we didn't have anything else. I snacked on some of those rice crackers and salsa that I had for dinner the night before, and we headed over the the Natural Selection grocery store in town. We got a watermelon, nectarines, oranges, lettuce, and some other stuff I can't remember. We didn't get too much because our big fruit haul is today (that's where I am going after I write this blog post). On the way home I ate a nectarine and for lunch I scooped out the meat of the entire nearly 5 lb watermelon and blended it up and had watermelon juice. About 650-675 calories
Dinner: I had a huge salad with cucumbers, local heirloom tomatoes, basil, and topped with my tahini dressing
I am noticing I need more calories throughout the day, so making it a point to always be stocked up on fruit is important.
